Information: About Daniel

Photography is my passion.

My love for photography was born at an early age by photographing everything around me, developing film, and making black and white prints in a dark room. Since then, photography has been the only road I have traveled. After earning a Master of Arts degree in Photojournalism from Ohio University, I have been blessed for more than a decade to photograph a couple's love story on their most important day as well as working as a staff photographer at one of the leading newspapers in Virginia. As a wedding photographer and a photojournalist, I have won numerous international awards, including Pictures of the Year International, Best of Photojournalism, and Wedding Photojournalist Contest, and my work has been published both nationally and internationally, including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post.

I believe that weddings are the heart and soul of any couple's love story. I feel honored to be a participant in every wedding I photograph and treat both the day and the people involved with the highest level of respect. Most of all, weddings are a day filled with beauty and magic that emerges effortlessly. My job is to capture that magic in the most authentic way - unobtrusively, honestly and joyfully.

With my passion for artistic wedding photography and my experience as a photojournalist, my goal is to offer wedding couples the best wedding photography available by creating artwork and lasting memories for my clients that will be cherished for generations.
